Energised Learning™ Course List
Bringing out the very best in your training
Are you fed up of investing in expensive training programmes that only lead to short term results?
Do you find that in house training programmes are investing more and more time and effort but still find that the results just don’t seem to stick?
Are the key learning points soon forgotten, with just another course book on the shelf as a reminder of the experience?
Or maybe, you know you need to develop your internal skills but don’t know how best to go about it.
Turn your training programmes into Energised learning whether you are trainer or learner.
By now, most of us recognise the value in creating a learning culture at work, making it a place where people relish the challenge of solving problems as a chance to learn new skills and build self confidence.
- A place where the 'we can’t because ….' becomes 'let’s try it!'
- A place where teams feel they can solve their own problems without asking permission.
- A place where success comes from recognising the great people you have around you and unleashing their full potential.
We at Environmental Lean Solutions love helping people like you design and deliver truly engaging and inspiring learning sessions. Ones where the positive experience helps people to learn at a deep, sustainable level.
How can we help you?
Energised Learning is based on 5 Principles:
- Everyone is different, so use all that talent around you.
- True learning comes from the creation of our own ideas, not just the ability to recite those of others.
- We learn best when we are involved in the process and having fun.
- Real learning is realistic and relevant and usable in the real world.
- Using all the 5 senses all the time gives us at least 5 times the impact.
The real skill is learning how to create a learning journey where people feel part of the experience, and want to come back for more!
We will help you learn techniques drawn from accelerated learning, outcome focus, brain based learning, NLP, etc, that will give you the skills and confidence to create your own learning sessions and go and make a real difference back at your workplace.
Helping your people be the best they can be.
How do people in your organisation know they are being successful?
Do they only find out when things aren’t going well by being hauled over the coals?
We at Environmental Lean Solutions believe people perform best when they feel someone in the organisation cares about them and they themselves can play a part in their own personal development.
Our current courses include
Personal Development Planning)
It’s no surprise that people perform best when they know what is expected from them so they can work out for themselves how they can make it happen.
In this session you will learn how to set stretching but realistic objectives and create a workable system of workplace appraisal (PDP).
You will learn the skills necessary to coach and develop others and how to recognise the relevant skills and capabilities in the people inside and outside of your current organisation.
This is an essential skill for all managers.
High performance modelling
Do you have some people in your organisation that seem to always do the right thing at the right time and consistently get great results?...
... Maybe a successful sales person or a great motivator or inspiring coach?...
... What is it they actually do?
Chances are most of what they do is based on a set of beliefs they hold to be true. These beliefs are then translated into the person’s behaviours through the skills and knowledge they have developed over time.
If you asked them what they do, they probably wouldn’t even know they were doing it. It just comes naturally.
Using key NLP skills, we can identify these beliefs and, therefore, the skills and knowledge they are using. We can then train others in this best practice in order to attain similar levels of performance.
This technique has been used to transform the performance of sales teams, first line managers and management teams delivering true business benefit.
Change Champion Development
The performance of any Lean program is fundamentally linked to the performance of the people making it happen.
A successful method frequently used is to allocate the role of Change Champion (sometimes called a Kaizen Promotion Officer, or KPO) to run the activity program and to pick up the key skills from the Lean consultant, or maybe to develop the skills through Lean Practitioner training.
The Change champion will learn
- how to run a successful breakthrough event
- how to measure and track event follow up
- how to deal with conflict
- How to influence up, down and sideways within an organisation in order to make things happen
- the core skills of Energised Learning
- the what, why and how of Lean Thinking
We will help you to develop this role across all parts of the business, to a point where you effectively have your own internal consultants: a very valuable asset.
At Environmental Lean Solutions, we want you to feel that you are in control of your own development. A good Change Champion lies at the heart of this.
